Total Eclipse of the Heart: Literal Video Version

Peaceful Protest?

This video isn't for the weak-stomached. Disturbing scenes - be warned. An example of how protests reported as peaceful, back in 2008, were far from... Videos were obtained from a foreign news channel. Question everything you read and see.

UNDERCOVER WITH THE BNP

Doorly's Southern Fried Mash Up

Wretch 32 Ft. Thy Maryan - Superhero

Big new tune from Wretch. Video production from Scorcher. Not Frsh camp. Vash is bringing it... Also if you haven't done so yet, check Wretch's blog. Moving like a speed typer.

Jaycee - Everything ft. Silver (PRD By Sermstyle)

I get sent links to a lot of videos, and admittedly I was preoccupied as I loaded this up. Thought it was Enrique or Justin croning. Boy can sing.

Dubplate on 1Xtra

This weekend, Bless Beats, Wretch 32 and Double S could be heard on Tim Westwood's 1Xtra show, talking about Dubplate and the official theme tune, 'Let It Out'. To listen back to the show, just click HERE.

Let It Out Behind The Scenes

It was a day of madness in south-west London a couple of Sunday's back when we shot the video for ‘Let It Out’, the official theme tune to Dubplate Drama 3, produced by Bless Beats featuring the vocal talents of Donaeo, Double S and Wretch 32.

So while most of the Wimbledon residents lay asleep in their beds, the Frsh production crew, Dubplate team, and the all important stars of ‘Let It Out’, were on route to the Watershed Club.

The first surprise of the day came courtesy of The English National Ballet School. Despite being a teenager himself, choreographer and dance student George Williamson rolled up with his entourage to bring a fresh perspective on ballet. You wouldn’t be the first to go ‘huh’ when you think of ballet dancers pirouetting to grime, but that’s what went down (check them out in my next RWD column too).

Suitably impressing the MCs, Wretch32 learnt a few positions and all the guys took it in turn to pose for pics with the female dancers who pulled off more high kicks and tricky looking manoeuvre's than any pole dancer could muster. Far more tasteful too.

With the extras turning up quicker than another dodgy MP expense claim, RWD TV and SB_TV were there to catch all the behind the scenes action, along with a full crew from Flava TV. Along with some dodgy hair-dos, there was a lot of colour, balloons, silly string and party vibes going down.

Professor Green, Big Narstie, actor Isaac Ssebandeke, Janee, Mos Wanted, Young Nate, Nu Brand Flexx and many more of the Dubplate friends and family passed through to show their support or go nuts in the group scenes.

Watch out for the behind the scenes video footage coming soon…

Shot on an unremarkable day in London, 2009

That any-day is now the first installment in an on-going series linking the unseen and the unsung, the ignored and the adored, from 'the man on the street' to this issues host JME - all played on a big backing beat. A mix of print and video looking at the unraveling story of us, told through music, movement, words and people. This first Issue is a straight up tone setter, a taste, a signal of intent, the start of a format, a work in progress...

On Sale Now at the first four stockists. More to be announced...

Calvin Haris - I'm Not Alone (Doorly remix)

I don't know why alot of the media hate on Calvin Harris. He's got the hooks. And notes. Doorly should have soon with this kind of vomit-inducing, bass curdling nastiness.

Dizzee Rascal - Bonkers (doorly remix)
