Dizzee Rascal will be making an appearance at Nike+ Supersonic tomorrow night in Finsbury Park. Nike is inviting young active Londoners to push their pace through the sound barrier with Nike+ Supersonic. On the night of 17th November London’s fastest 1,000 will take part in a 1k run, cheered on by 2,000 of their mates, ending with an invite-only gig headlined by the UK’s top acts. Contenders can compete for tickets at four 100m speed trials across London throughout October. The first speed trial is taking place at Finsbury Park, Friday 12th October. www.myspace.com/nikesupersonic

Have you seen this man? Gavin Weale works for LIVITY and LIVE Magazine. We took him out for a dinner and after a trip to the bowl, he never returned. Please do not eat him. Return him to his rightful place in Brixton where he is loved and cherished. And whatever you do, don't add salt.

New issue is out and about now. And it's still FREE. Issue 25 includes news, book and cd reviews, tomorrows young fashion stars, outdoor pursuits, Slim Esquire looks at the death of the hoodie, Mark Prince talks about life after the murder of his son Kiyan while Frisco tells us what it's really like being shot. Not ones to shirk from harsh realities, Laura Brosnan gives a heartfelt account of losing her mum to lung cancer, Skitz Beats on his experience of homelessness, plus interviews with NY and Unklejam, Cooking With Ace & Invisible and columns from Mario Motivator and your problems solved by Hyperfrank.
If you're aged 12-22 and want to get involved, LIVE HQ in Brixton is open to all with an interest in writing, photography, graphics and getting ahead in life. If it's good enough for Gordon Brown and David Cameron, it's good enough for me.

Worked with Tim & Barry a number of times and without sounding in anyway patronising, proud of these guys. This is a big look and shows if you work hard at something and do you, it pays off. Tims hair also deserves a special mention. Mother must be proud of that too. Thanks to http://josephjppatterson.blogspot.com/ for the heads up.

Check the new issue of SuperSuper for my Tinchy Stryder piece and the CD, put together by us at 679, with the help of mix maestros, the ones they call Tapedeck. Given the swagness of most covermounts, you need to be thanking the big bossman Worthers and all the artists for allowing us the pleasure of giving their tunes away for nothing.
